MY STORY
Hi! That’s me , Kristin, the owner & photographer at First 28 Photography, with my WHOLE world. Why photography, why First 28?
When I was six years old, my daughter’s age in this photograph, I lost my mother to breast cancer. I don’t have many photographs with my mother, or memories. As I had my own children and discovered the infinite love and healing in motherhood, I found great joy in witnessing other families welcome new life through photography.
I carry with me the daily reminder that I must make everyday the best memory I can. And the saving grace is, I have been given the gifts and opportunities to re-write that story for myself and my clients. I also want First 28 Photography to be something that spreads lasting memories, hope, and love. That's why a big part of what you will get when you take portraits with us is the opportunity to give back to our COMMUNITY. Every portrait session will contribute to another family’s in-kind session, help a child or family, or support a local organization to make a difference- and that's a promise!
